Happy New Year - updated isolation information

Please see below updated guidance on testing and self-isolation.

We are looking forward to welcoming the children back to school tomorrow, Tuesday 4th January at the normal time. Breakfast club is running as normal for those who have booked a space.

Please be aware of a series of recent changes to Isolation and testing for Covid.

If your child has any symptoms of Covid, or tests positive on a Lateral Flow Test (LFT) please isolate and book a PCR test online or by calling 119.

If the PCR is taken within 2 days of the LFT and is negative, your child can return to school.

If the PCR test is positive, children may now take LFTs on day 6 and day 7 of the self-isolation period. Those who receive two negative test results are no longer required to complete 10 full days of self-isolation. The first test must be taken no earlier than day 6 of self-isolation and tests must be taken 24 hours apart. If both these test results are negative, and you do not have a high temperature, you may end your self-isolation after the second negative test result and return to school from day 8.

If your child is a contact of a positive case, they should take a LFT every day and isolate if the result is positive.
